Week 2

WEEK 2

DAY 1 – SUNDAY

SIMOLEONS - $428

ACROBAT LEVEL – 3

With her social running low Vivian heads to the park to make some friends.

While there she decides to audition and gets her first gig!  Vivian is booked to perform at Verde Park Festival Grounds on Monday at 7:30 pm.

She spends the rest of the day collecting wild flowers

And does a spot of fishing before heading home.

DAY 2 – MONDAY

Ken has settled back on the porch to keep out of the rain.   He was a little disappointed as the postman only brought bills with him today.

Vivian was still dealing with cooking level 3 and burning everything she cooked.

Vivian: I know, I know.  I burnt it I eat it!

Before heading off to work on more painting to raise her fun levels Vivian calls Wylie for a chat.

She had to rush off to set up for her gig before finishing her painting but she did manage to reach painting level 2.

Being low on funds Vivian decides to use the venues set up for her performance.

Unfortunately the heavy rain was keeping everyone away and no one came to watch the show.

On her way home Vivian auditioned at the Coffee House but did not get offered a gig.

Vivian: Everyone hates me!

No they don’t sweetie, they just haven't discovered how amazing you are yet.

Vivian: Really?

Really.

DAY 3 – TUESDAY

Cooking level 3 reached an all-time low as Vivian managed to set fire to the cooker while making breakfast.

Ken was trying a new tactic with the postman by pretending he wasn't watching.

After the disaster in the kitchen Vivian settled for a bowl of cereal.

Firefighter: So.  Cooking level 3 huh?

Vivian: Tell me about it!

And then heads off to watch the Simfest at the park.

Tail???

After the Simfest Vivian decides to perform for tips and earns a whopping $127.

Vivian: They like me!

I told you they would, be patient good things will come.

After collecting her tips Vivian chats to Wylie.

Wylie: You're not going to do that cinnamon thing again are you?

Vivian: Oh no.  It’s only funny the first time!

And in typical Sim style just as they are starting to bond something turns up.

Wylie: is that a zombie?

Vivian: I think it is.

Wylie: What is he doing?

They were both enthralled by the zombie wiping dirt off his trousers.

Then decided to play tag!  Really, who says romance is dead :/

DAY 4 – WEDNESDAY

Vivian managed to make grilled cheese without burning it and reached cooking level 4.

Despite reassuring Ken that Vivian never owned a car he was convinced that there had been one and that it had been stolen.

Vivian headed to the park to audition for another gig.  She was booked for Thursday at 8:30pm and also gained a promotion!

Vivian is now acrobat level 4 – Contortionist and earns $525 per week.

With Spooky Day approaching Vivian picks some pumpkins to carve.

Before heading home she spends some time at the gym, leading to another late night.

Someone grease the treadmill too huh?

Vivian: Yep.

Thought so.

When she arrived home she had received a gift from Wayne Martin.

Vivian: Who is Wayne Martin?

You went to his party.

Vivian: Oh yeah.  Nice house.

DAY 5 – THURSDAY SPOOKY DAY

Vivian carves her spooky day pumpkins and got enough lifetime reward points to buy Engaging.

Cute!

She then decides to throw a feast party.

Vivian: You think anyone will come?

Just don’t be too disappointed if they don’t okay.  You don’t have the perfect host reward and are new in town.  Most first parties flop.

Vivian: Oh.

But I’m sure yours will be fine.

Vivian gets a couple of cheap tables to hold the feast food.

Invested in a stereo for the party.

And placed her newly carved pumpkins.

Amazingly everyone turned up!

And they were all enjoying themselves! 

Awww, I didn’t even tell them to dance together!

Ken was trying to use the power of his mind to move the newspaper.

The party was going great; everyone was having a good time.

Until someone couldn’t handle their firecracker shrimp and set fire to the house!

Naaw Wylie helped Vivian put out the flames.

Burnt Lady: Wow!  This party is WILD!!!

Vivian thanked Wylie with a heat of the moment kiss.  As he stood there shocked Vivian felt her stomach turn.

Vivian: I’m sorry I…

Wylie: Come here gorgeous!

It seemed romance was in the air as even the burnt lady managed to get a slow dance.

It was time for Vivian to head off to her gig.

Which she performed in her formal wear!

Again the rain was keeping away her audience.

After her show Vivian visited the haunted house.  A new gnome sneaked into her inventory while she was in there!

Vivian arrived home exhausted from her long day, but bed would have to wait as there was a lot of cleaning to do after the party.

Ken, excited to meet the new addition to the household had headed inside to greet the new gnome.

And here she is!  Witch gnome (so cool!) Twiglet joins the family.

Just as Vivian finished washing the last plate the sink broke.

Vivian:  Why won’t it let me sleep!!

So a very grumpy Vivian fixed the sink before bed.  She did manage to reach handiness level 1.

To avoid Vivian’s rage Ken and Twiglet had headed outside to play.

DAY 6 – FRIDAY

It was afternoon by the time Vivian awoke and she managed to find a leftover cheese platter in the fridge for lunch.

Feeling grumpy after her late night she headed off for some painting therapy at the gallery and gained painting level 3.  The painting sold for $45.

Vivian gets a call from Diane Whitfield inviting her to her party.  She also gets an opportunity to attend a miming seminar at the Business Tower.  Unfortunately the tower is closed for the weekend so that will have to wait till Monday.

It was soon party time.

Vivian spent the night chatting and dancing and had a great time.

She even got a call from Wylie.  Maybe the day was going to end well!

DAY 7 – SATURDAY

Vivian finally returned home from the party in the early hours.  After having a quick salad and breaking the toilet again she headed to bed.

After her sleep Vivian headed for a shower, broke it then headed off to fix the toilet.  Naked!!

Why don’t you have any clothes on?

Vivian:  Why get them wet and dirty?

Okay, odd.  I don’t have any naked mods/clothes  :/

She then repaired the shower – naked!!  However she did reach handiness level 2.

O_o

Turns out the TV is also broken!  After making her get dressed she set about fixing that and reached handiness level 3.

Vivian received a gift from Charlie Ray and an invite to his party.  She really is very popular!!

After a quick nap it’s time to head to the party.

Where she spends her time playing the guitar.

Vivian: Can I get one of these?

One day.
